The latest element in the Global Manufacturing Leadership Programme is completed and my time in India is drawing to an end. It has been a time of wonderment and intensity which has left me feeling both inspired and humbled. It is really a country like no other I have seen. This picture was just a random point and click in a journey by car where the rules of the road are superfluous and instead there seems to be just a strong sense of awareness and understanding that we are all trying to get somewhere so let’s get on with it. Going the wrong way down a dual carriageway is common-place. Apparently you need three things to be able to drive in India – brakes, a horn and good luck. I had a driver so I tried to give him all the luck that I could muster. It is still a wonderful and diverse world that needs to be explored if it is to be appreciated – enjoy and protect it!
