DCo design bespoke Assessment Centres and Development Centres to meet your staff recuitment and development needs.
Both are excellent formats for talent identification and talent development within your business. They are similar in format and use the same techniques to objectively evaluate individuals against competencies but they have distinctly different purposes.
Assessment Centres are used for talent selection whereas Development Centres are designed for talent development.
Development Centres are therefore conducted for professional development purposes rather than recruitment purposes.
DCo work with your organisation to understand your recruitment or talent development needs before designing a process to assess and stretch your candidates and participants.
All of our Assessment Centres and Development Centres use your organisation’s competencies and desired behaviours to measure performance. The observed format of these processes provides an objective method of assessment. This ensures that you are able to effectively compare individuals who may be suitably qualified or similarly experienced for a role.
Both formats are typically a one day process and require the use of an observation team. DCo are able to train internal observers to support the Centres that we design and deliver or can manage the whole process for your organisation.
Many Assessment and Development Centres are also supported by ability or personality testing. We can work with you to understand the role requirements and advise on appropriate psychometric assessments for the purpose of candidate sifting or professional development purposes.
