Learning and Development Content Writer
Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Learning and Development Content Writer to join our team based at our offices in Tower Hill, Haverfordwest. The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting bespoke training programme content, developing supporting materials, formulating sales proposals tailored to meet unique training needs, producing insightful whitepapers on current learning and development trends and supporting the creation of website content on our services. Please note that this is not a marketing content role.
Key Responsibilities
Bespoke Training Content:
- Design and develop customised training programmes aligned with client needs
- Create engaging and interactive learning materials, including presentations, handouts, development tasks and multimedia content.
Sales Proposal Creation:
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and develop tailored training proposals
- Create persuasive and detailed sales proposals highlighting the value of our training solutions
Whitepaper Production:
- Stay informed about current learning and development trends, industry best practices, and hot topics.
- Author insightful whitepapers addressing key trends, challenges, and opportunities in the learning and development landscape.
Website Content Development:
- Craft compelling and informative content for the company’s website to effectively showcase our training services.
- Ensure website content is SEO-friendly, user-friendly, and aligned with brand messaging.
Skills & Qualifications:
You don’t need a degree or direct role experience to be considered for this role, but we do require exceptional proficiency in:
- Being able to create engaging and effective learning content
- Written and spoken English
The right person will:
- Have the ability to write instructional content and learning materials for different purposes
- Have a genuine interest in the field of learning and development
- Enjoy research, being curious about new concepts, and evolving new training materials
- Have the capacity to work independently to meet deadlines as well as regularly collaborating with other team members
- Have an eye for detail and editing skills
- Be proficient in using multimedia tools for learning content creation, with knowledge of Canva an advantage
- Be comfortable working in an environment that prioritises the importance of feedback, and has a commitment to continuous improvement
